Vinted Members Express Frustration Regarding Size Modifications
Vinted users have been reacting angrily after an update resulted in items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has updated its sizing categories for female and kids' apparel without notifying all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media saying Vinted listings now show a different size category versus the original listing because of the remapping.
The company said the new system was more in line with similar services.
They have suggested members to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Modifications
Before the change, the sizing featured one number and one letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the size labels have been reassigned - like an L measurement used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Member Accounts
One content creator, who creates plus-size fashion videos, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes.
A different member, located in Scotland, explained products she uploaded on Vinted with size 14 labels were appearing on the platform as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, located in England, stated she felt frustrated due to the update requiring manual adjustment the sizes on "every single listing".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential following partial earnings loss," she explained.
Service Background
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification within the service has received backlash: last year, the service retracted a modification to its shipping options following member complaints.
